Memorable Events :-
1.     Khana Badosh - an action movie directed by M.M. Mehra . Khana Badosh was produced in Lahore before independence and was released in 1952.

2.     Naveli - was planned to be named Karwaten, but later released as Naveli. Naveli was Rehan's first film in Pakistan.

3.     Dopatta - first Urdu film of Noor Jehan in Pakistan was directed by Sabtain Fazli. The film was also released in Calcutta, India where it played in nine cinema houses and grossed well at the box office. Its songs, sung by Noor Jehan and brilliantly composed by Feroze Nizami, were hits on both sides of the Wagah border. It got brilliant reviews in Filmfare, an Indian magazine describing it as “a challenge and a very serious warning to Indian producers”

4.     Character actor Talish made his debut in Nath - the only punjabi film released in 1952.
