1.     Anwar Kamal Pasha acted in his own home production Dilbar and married its leading lady Shamim.
2.     Zubaida Khanum was introduced as playback singer by G.A. Chisthi in Billo (1951). Billo was planned to be named as Merasi, but later the name was changed due to the protest from musician community.
3.     Music of Eid was jointly composed by Rashid Attre and Indian Singer/Music Director S.D. Batish.
4.     Producer/Director W.Z. Ahmed's wife Nina acted in Akeli, her only Pakistani film. Film was directed by M.M. Mehra, younger brother of K.D. Mehra (who directed the first punjabi film Sheila a.k.a. Pind di Kuri in 1935).
5.     Noor Jehan and Shaukat Hussain Rizvi came out with a punjabi film Chanway, their first venture in Pakistan some four years after partition. Film was directed by Shaukat Hussain Rizvi but the credit of directing the film was given to Noor Jehan as he could not understand the Punjabi vernacular. This formally made Noor Jehan the first female director of Pakistan.
